What do they do?

What is a specialty medication?
Specialty medications are prescription drugs that are usually: very expensive, used to treat rare, complex, or chronic conditions, and often require special handling, storage, or monitoring
Examples include: Certain cancer treatments, Injectable or infusion medications for autoimmune diseases, and Medications for rare genetic conditions.
